Shetty said that the film is currently being edited in Italian and Spanish. Kantara He had set the box office on fire with his record collection. According to trade portal Sacnilk, the film was made on a budget of around Rs 16 crore and earned Rs 363.82 crore at the domestic box office, Rs 407.82 crore in worldwide collections and Rs 44 crore in overseas collections. The film collected Rs 183.60 crore in Karnataka, Rs 50.56 crore in Andhra/Telangana, Rs 10.44 crore in Tamil Nadu, Rs 16.26 crore in Kerala and Rs 99.47 crore in Rest of India.
As of today, the film has an IMDb rating of 8.3/10 and an audience rating of 83% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Backed by KGF franchise producers Humball Films and its founder Vijay Kiragandur, the film has rituals like the traditional Buta Kula dance for the local deity and the Kambala ritual, the annual bull race, in its backdrop. The story focuses on a king who agrees with a local god to give a portion of his land to the local people in exchange for peace and happiness.
This action thriller stars Rishab Shetty, Saptami Gowda, Pramod Shetty, Kishore, Achiyot Kumar and Viny Bidappa in important roles.
